Up You Go
Context
When I was going to University, one of my projects on the Indie Game Development course was to create a set of mini games. This is 1/3 game.
I spent a lot of time on this game and had it go through a long iterative process. Overall it went from a game where you keep going down with a fragile item that you try not to break, to a plane flying between rocks and trees and collecting coins.
I used this project for my other module that revolved around marketing and portfolio. I made some fake screenshots/mock-ups for the map and customisation to make it appears as a more finished product with more features.
I found it easy and fund to do, but also super helpful as a proof of concept which I thought might be used by me in the future if I even need to put something together for a pitch or another way to present my ideas.
