When I was going to University, one of my projects on the Indie Game Development course was to create a set of mini games. This is 2/3 game.

I made a really simple mechanics of going between tiles from which you were acquiring points, which was the whole point of the game. But additionally, I've included an interesting challenging aspect to the game, with the compass that switches the player inputs at random.

Most of the feedback I have received was in regards of that compass being too confusing and game being unplayable. Which is a little disappointing as I thought that it was a cool concept, and a way to keep the player always focusing.

The game consisted of a few 2D assets that I had to make for the player, obstacles and pickables. It was an easy blend between 2D and 3D as the rest of the game is just a cube that I made flat to turn into the tile, and changed colour upon entering.
